About Me:
Mr Akinwale Albert Peter Afolabi was born to the family of Late Pa Samuel Ajao Afolabi and Late Mama Esther Omodele Afolabi at Bibiani, Western Region, Ghana over 60 years ago. He had his elementary school at L.A. primary school, Ikoyi . He attended Anglican Grammar School, Ogbomoso from 1976- 1981. He thereafter proceeded to Osogbo Grammar School for his Higher School Certificate (HSC) from 1982-1984.
He gained admissions Into the University of Ibadan in 1984 for his Bachelor Degree in Philosophy/Political Science and graduated in 1988. He had his National Youth Service with the then MAMSER(now NOA) in Ilorin, Kwara State between 1988 & 1989. He had a short engagement in private business in Lagos between 1989 and March 1992.
He joined the service of the then National Electoral Commission (NEC) now INEC as a Personnel Officer in April 1992. He has served in various positions in Oyo, Anambra, Osun, Ogun and Ondo States. He retired as a Director from the service of INEC on the 23rd of March, 2023. His quest for more knowledge took him back to the University of Ibadan between 2012 and 2014 when he obtained his Masters of Science Degree(M.sc) in Peace and Conflicts Studies (Internal Conflicts). Furthermore, he obtained his professional qualification as a Fellow, Chattered Institute of Personnel Management (FCMP) 2016.
Mr Akinwale Albert Peter Afolabi is currently pursuing his Doctorate Degree in Conflicts management at the Department of Peace, Security and Humanitarian Studies, Faculty of Multidimensional Studies, University of Ibadan. Mr Akinwale Albert Peter Afolabi likes Reading, Traveling, Football and seeing Hollywood Movies! He is a generally free-minded person.
